MotoCast

MotoCast is a free application that can be easily installed on a Windows-powered machine. After it is installed and after it is connected to a Motorola mobile, it can be used to perform several tasks. You can use MotoCast to easily access media stored on your mobile, you can use MotoCast to stream media from your computer, you can use MotoCast to sync your media.

I started this article by mentioning the fact that MotoCast can be easily installed on a Windows-powered PC. This is not to say that MotoCast is available for Windows only. Mind you, MotoCast is available for Microsoft’s Windows operating system AND for Apple’s Mac OS X.

MotoCast includes MotoCast Wireless and MotoCast USB.
With MotoCast Wireless you can stream content (music, playlists, videos, photos, documents) from your PC to your Motorola mobile. If your PC is on, you can use your Motorola mobile to access content stored on it. You can also access said content from other computers.
With MotoCast USB you can sync music, playlists, photos, videos, podcasts, or contacts between your computer and your Motorola device.

So to recap, you can use MotoCast to stream content from your PC to your mobile and to sync content between your PC and your mobile. Please note that you will have to register your computer to establish a secure connection to your mobile device. To do so you must sign in with the same ID on your PC and on your mobile.
